We went for an anniversary dinner last night and it was great. I really enjoyed the happy hour and the manager James was supremely polite. For dinner I recommend the 16oz aged New York strip. Our server James (different man) delivered premier customer service and his recommendation of the lava cake for dessert was spot on.
Based on prices, the cars you see here, valet parking, the beautiful interior, and great wine/drink list, you'd think the food would be some of the best you've ever had...you'd be disappointed. I loved my cocktail, the service, the elegant, classy, and cozy atmosphere. The menu looked amazing, the prices (although expected) did not, so I expected the food to be spectacular. I would have been just as happy, if not more, getting a steak from Texas Roadhouse instead. You're paying for the luxurious environment, not the quality of food. It was GOOD food, but not OUTSTANDING (like the price).
I strongly recommend to friends and family.
Our Son and daughter-in- law gave us a gift certificate and we decided to use it for our anniversary. The staff was friendly and accommodating seating us a at great table. The Fleming's salad was light with a tasty lemon vinaigrette. The Prime Rib perfectly cut, tender and topped off with a trio of sauces which gently exploded the flavor! My wife chose the Truffle Parsley Mashed Potatoes, I ordered Fleming's spicy potatoes with Jalapenos and Cheddar Cheese. We had so much food we had no room for dessert! Our waiter surprised us with a gift of fine chocolates and a $25 gift certificate for our next visit. This was one of our best anniversaries ever!
Steak was seasoned with some type of curry or spice that made it taste kind of like tacos, cumin probably. Maybe would have been better suited as a toca burger. Either way didn't really care for the food, but the service was very good.
I only go here once or twice a year because it's so dang expensive. That being said when I do come here I get superior service and amazing food. The steak practically melts in your mouth the appetizers are fantastic and the desserts do well to finish off a great meal.
