My wife and I enjoy shopping at Meijer they have fast check out and a large variety of Home Goods and groceries with a nice variety of produce and Fresh Bakery goods and meats we like going there because we can also check out the home goods and sports equipment and Hardware it's a little bit out of our way to go to Moraine however when we want to have a nice drive and a quick check out without the hustle and bustle that we get from other box stores we like to go to the Moraine Meijer and would recommend that to our friends
Service is about a 3, the prices are a 2, but the selection is most definitely a 4. Great place to get things you can't get other places, but I wouldn't recommend everyday grocery shopping here. I never really get approached or help from employees. I always use the checkout yourself line. Very big store with not many employees.
In my experience, Meijer can have really good sales on just about everything except groceries. For example, I visited my local Meijer today and bought great toys for local foster kids for Christmas at wonderful sale prices but when I went to buy a few groceries I needed, I ended up passing on them because I couldn't bring myself to pay more when another grocery store nearby has much cheaper prices on the groceries I need.
It’s imperative that you know the deliciousness Meijer’s store cut bacon. It doesn’t matter if you get the pepper or applewood bacon. It doesn’t cook down half as much as packaged bacon...plus it’s twice as thick.
Good clean store. Sometimes items are out of stock on the grocery side, or have been moved and are hard to find. Generally better than the Kroger store across the street.
