The inside is spacious, shiny and new! There’s an area that looks like it’s used for performances and the kids area looks quite fun. It’s nice to have something so close to home. It will be the perfect place to walk with my thirteen month old when hubby’s working and we need some entertainment.
Large, gorgeous modern building, with friendly staff. Computers available for guest use. Copier, printer, and fax machines available for a very small fee. LGBTQ+ book display on main floor front and center, very welcoming and comforting.
I can’t wait to bring my little boy here to explore together. This place is so huge that it even has its own underground parking lot. As of this moment Parking is free. But it looks like they might be stalling machines that dispense tickets??
Beautiful library. Huge windows illuminate the inside for easy visibility. The Fractal Rain sculpture in the middle is gorgeous. And the selection! The library has a very nice selection. I’ll be frequenting this library regularly.
I am very pleased with how well this library not only looks, but functions. The staff that work here are very kind and helpful. The three floors off this library make it very large in comparison to the other libraries in the area. the Dayton Metro Library reconstruction process is doing wonders for the libraries. The Main branch is no exception, it is beautiful, modern, and updated. The laptop lending is similar to the way you would have used one of the older computers. The book selections are extraordinary! The children's section is wonderful as well. I will definitely come back.
Had to go for a speaker series, first time their. I have to say I’m real impressed with the look of it. A real good job on the remodeling. I’m hoping it will make it better for the inner cities. I look forward to going back. I just hope it will help win the success for the surrounding communities.
