Definitely a must for any family.
If you have ever looked up into the sky with awe, and definitely if you have ever held a cyclic, collective, yoke, stick, or aircraft throttle this museum is a must see. The collection of former Air Force One aircraft is incredible. The spaceflight collection is a priceless part of our national and planetary heritage. The vintage warplanes can teach many future generations about the hard work required to preserve peace and security.
Great museum. I would highly suggest a trip here. Kid friendly. The holocaust exhibit is presented very well. The overall restorations of the exhibits are very well done. The missiles are awesome, and the WWII section is also phenomenal. Everything was awesome, hence the 5 stars.
Presidents planes and rocket exhibit is great. You can walk through the presidents planes and see what it was like.
Go 4 or 5 times a year. Always something new to learn each time you go.
Free admission and free scooter if you need one to ride instead of walking.
This museum is amazing. The number of and quality exhibits is breathtaking. The highlight for me was to be able to personally see planes that I had only read about before, such as the B-36 Peacemaker. The galleries are well laid out and allows you to quickly see what you want to be able to see. Plan to spend a few hours here as their are so many things to see.
Great place to go to see all sorts of history. Honestly try to get here as often as I can to just gain perspective on what this country is about. Thank you to the volunteers and past service men and women who give the tours. Thank you to the service men and women who just walk around and tell of their experiences. Truly amazing place to go. Oh and the presidents planes are so cool!!
