Of the major anchor stores, Elder Berman has most floor staff, and Penny's would be next. Holiday traffic will have some stores better staffed than others. Good luck.
It's virtually the same as other malls. The only exception is the Japanese place at the food court has possibly the best tempura shrimp I've ever had in my life. You get like seven big tempura shrimps for five bucks, it's nuts. I would come back here just for that.
I purchase some Gucci perfume from the man in front of the children’s place. IT WAS FAKE. Smelled like rubbing alcohol. I had a travel size in my car and verified they were definitely not the same. The travel size was purchased at Macy’s. Anyways I politely went back to the man and request a refund. After being called out my name, a few f yous and security called he finally refunded my money. I reported the incident to the security area and they’ve done nothing. No apologies....absolutely nothing!
Guitar Center, GameStop, Kay Jewelers, and the small owned game stores are possibly my favorite reason to drive up here. I live 2 hours away and I always like window shopping and seeing all the cool new things.
The mall itself is great. Just watch whose around you.... If you're in Macy's, good luck on finding someone to help you, let alone check you out !?!?
Guitar Center has some nice employees and great service. Sadly, I wish there was more inventory for vocalists, studio monitor headphones, and midi keyboards. However, it's called Guitar Center so It's a pretty great place with a large selection of Guitars.
Can definitely be crowded, especially when the weather is less than ideal or around the holidays, but is great for delivering a classic mall experience. No surprises, and there are some notably vacant spots, but it's kept clean. The outdoor marketplace areas have a more welcoming, current feel that keeps it from looking too dated.
Kay Jewelers always has deals going on when I visit. I bought $4,000 worth of Jewelry for only $1,600. My wife was very excited and pleased with her gifts. Thank you!
