It’s not at the high end of children’s museums that we’ve visited but far from the bottom. Pretty good variety of exhibits to eke children busy and learn while doing so. The price won’t hurt you while visiting. Would be great to have refreshments but there is an area where you can enjoy snacks that you brought.
The kids had fun running around and the play ground in the middle is great, but a lot of things were out of order. I would plan half a day here, the earlier the better as it starts getting busier around lunch time.
Children under three are free. I keep taking my two year old son there since it's free. Full price is like $13 dollars but a year membership gives you unlimited entry and free planetarium for a year plus free entry at Sunwatch and five more museams for free for like $35 per person a year depending which level you get. There are family packs of memberships for discounted prices. Pretty much, It's $13 per "extra" person plus you should be a member yourself. If you are going to bring a whole family, instead of paying like $100 They will give you the year-long family pass for like $65 for four people. Make sure you talk to them real good about wanting to maybe become a member so you can upgrade to the membership level for a few dollars more so you can come all year instead of one day only.
This place is great for kids off all ages. Very hands on and fun. Interactive activities everywhere you turn. The best part is it is affordable for families with multiple kids. The restrooms are clean and so is the facility itself. The staff is great. They have vending machines for quick snacks or you can pack lunches for a full day of awesome.
Had my wedding here and it was perfect. The kids had a blast. It was gorgeous and the staff was amazing. I'd highly recommended both coming for a fun day or an event
