I tried to return 2 dresses tonight and was told I couldn't. I purchased the dresses on-line in October, and was unaware of a 30 day return policy. I asked about receiving store credit and was told no. I asked to speak to a manager and was told "they are too busy to come talk to you." I was angry. I was so angry, that they refused to work with me and refused to even talk to me, that I walked out leaving the dresses on the counter.
Their customer service is horrendous and their policies are not customer friendly. It's no wonder they are on the verge of closing.
I purchased a 900.00 dryer last month and they delivered a white pedestal with my silver dryer. Have called a dozen times to speak to supervisor and the employees hang up on me. Spoke to a supervisor once and he said he had to talk to his supervisor and call me back. Its been 10 days. Poor service on sears mistake. I guess I need to return the dryer and take my business elsewhere
I will never purchase anything from Sears again. Dishwasher installed, immediately leaked. This was identified by installer.
I spent 20 minutes in this store trying to buy a power washer with no success 2 people in the store and 3 employees on the floor. Moved to look for a pair of dress shoes was in the department for over 30 minutes with no acknowledgement that I was even there by the 2 employees 2 aisles over. The one lady was a manager as sho spoke to the other employee as to what to watch for in shoplifter. I did get approached my a gentleman that asked if he could help, I told him what I need and he said I don't think we gave anymore rather then going back to look. I now understand why sears is closing stores.
I called back to the store and finally talked to a manager, but she was no help. She gave me the number for corporate and I called and complained but again, no help.
Told to call service, 45 minute hold and then told to call Kitchen Aid. Kitchen Aid told me to call Sears. Had purchased 3 year extended warranty. Was told service would call within 48 hours. They did not. I called store and AJ said they could send service out in 6 days. They already know what's wrong with it. Should have been fixed as soon as problem was identified. Sears is not going out of business because of Amazon. They are going out of business because they forgot why they are in business in the first place.
Sears has always been one of my "go to" stores, I even worked there for 2 years after high school, but I will NEVER shop there again.
The staff at Sears Optical are nice enough but the glasses they made me were trash! I could see better out of my 9 year old glasses than I could with the new ones from them. When I complained enough they finally offered to remake the glasses. I asked would that include a new eye test because the lady sure got it wrong the first time. Nope, they were only willing to remake the glasses using the wrong prescription. I tried to complain further up the chain of command but never got a single call returned. It is no wonder Sears as a whole is going bankrupt! I remember when the name Sears meant quality and customer care. Those days are gone forever!
