Cheap price Decent value. In the process of moving and had no water or power on yet needed a cheap place to stay for the night with the kids. Beds are comfy (could use more pillows), shower has lots of hot water, toilet works just not super great. No fridge no AC really. Wasn't particularly dirty, just needs some updating. No bed bugs or roaches in our room. Check in was fast, easy, friendly. Rooms are small but overall not bad for the price. Kids slept comfortably. Lots of restaurants near by and a Walmart close too open 24 hours. We were satisfied. Thanks to the staff...
absolutely the worst motel I have ever stayed in. without realizing it & without being told apparently the motel had gone under some management changes. as America's Best Value Inn this motel just hinged on a terrific value if that's what you were in need of & a business who was in the need of it's doors being locked... for good. this place had surprising still, shocked me. it was the same low cost but now was filthy beyond anything I'd seen. in order to be able to be in the room it had to be cleaned 1St. everything you touched was horrible, had the smell of something between being unrented for a time & nasty pet odor. the carpet was blacked by many years & no vacuum or shampooing. if I hadn't been in an emergency situation... I'd have kept my $$$$$ & slept in the unused, broken down dried out pool around back. oh my bad... NO BUGS!!!!!!!!
Bring a fan and some roach/bedbug spray! Or better yet, go elsewhere. The room was stifling muggy hot ( the "Central Air" does not work the least bit) and when I opened the curtain to open the window I was created by a huge cockroach! This was one of 5 that I encountered during my stay. The only decent thing was the shower.
I wish I could give this place a half a star cuz I would. My father travels and regularly stays here. He says his room with a single bed is awesome. This room I'm in now with him. First off I am blasted by a putrid smell. I go to the bathroom toilet seat is dirty and no toilet paper. The toilet don't flush I lift the lid to pull the chain. I go to wash my hands no soap or towels. I next check the beds. I lift the one cover bed is fine but the covers are covered in burn holes and ripped up in certain places. I lift the other to find a urine stained sheet and two pillows covered in unknown substance. The night stand is covered in sticky stuff. I go downstairs ask for towels and soap to shower. The lady says I'll see what I can do. I wait an hour nothing. I go back down still I'm given a hard time about needing towels. I mean who stays at a hotel and uses the bathroom? I will most defiantly never come back
Rooms are clean and quiet. The bathroom was modern. The bedroom furniture was 1950s vintage wood and the walls were painted garish colors. In short, funky small rooms. The soft mattress dumped both of us to the center of the bed. They would not give a senior citizen discount. For the price, it's not good value.
