1/2 hour wait, no problem! Ordered drinks from the bar while we waited. Great service at the bar. Once we where seated that all changed. Server slow to check back with us, had to go to bar for refills. Very slow service. Never had smoked wings, not juicy and plump as advertised, the wings where very dry burnt. When I mentioned it to server no response. Daughter ordered wings with mild sauce, so hot we had to order milk for her to drink. Daughters friend ordered Chicken tenders obviously processed chicken. I can say that my husband enjoyed the blackberry bourbon lemonade.
Great experience for my first time at Smokey Bones. My other half an I were expecting to have a wait it being a Sunday afternoon. We walked in and was promptly greeted by a hostess and immediately seated us. No wait! The menu is astounding! It took me a solid 15 minutes to decide what to order because it all sounded so good. It is the fullest and most diverse menu I have seen in a long time. The service was quick, seemed like we hardly had to wait for the food. It was fresh and hot and they served both our meals at the same time. We will definitely be visiting again soon to taste some more of their moutwatering menu.
We were seated immediately upon arriving then we waited and waited. After at least 15 minutes we got up and left because no one even took our drink order. The staff watched us put our coats on and walk out & didn't say a word. We're very upset. The sad thing is we're staying at a hotel nearby and visited the same location the night before and had excellent food with decent service. The exact same waitress walked right by us 4 times. She appeared to be our waitress again and never said a word. Since we left her a nice tip last night we were shocked that we were basically snubbed. Ridiculous!
Service at the bar was good. Brisket was not served until after 4 and they had none when we got there at 7. Chicken Nachos were very good. Timing of meal delivery was also good. My son and I each had the combo meal. I had smoked wings and pulled pork, while he had pulled pork and chicken tenders. They brought him grilled chicken breast instead of tenders. Said they would correct, but did not until we asked again. My smoked wings were excellent. Both servings of pulled pork were served on top of Texas toast. This caused the pork to dry out and made the toast soggy. Not sure of any logic behind this. If I had wanted a sandwich, I would have ordered one. Food was good enough to go back and try again.
Terrible service! We were staying nearby and went the night before and had decent service so we decided since it was the best late night option nearby we'd try it again. COMPLETELY IGNORED by the staff after we were seated! Waited 15 minutes for someone to just take our drink order and when that didn't happen we decided we'd just go somewhere else.
