First time there for the family, love it, happy with the experience. Will def. take family there again, multiple times, happy with how we were treated while there, great location as well. Would def. recommend this park to anyone.
This is a really nice park. The hiking trails are well marked and well maintained. The fishing ponds are stocked. I haven't fished in them but there were alot of people fishing on the day I was there.
We took our toddler here for her first fishing trip. We enjoyed ourselves even though we didn't catch any fish. There are lots of trails here and a couple of picnic areas. There is no childrens play area here.
Nice level grounds for walking, easy access to the lake for fishing. Went there to a shelter to celebrate one of my daughters' birthdays. It was very relaxing.
Unless you're Fishing for fish that are recently stocked there are better places to fish. Don't really feel like sitting shoulder to shoulder with the regulars who sit there every other day. Other than that the park is fine. I do like that I don't need a Fishing license but I buy one every year anyway.
