We've been to several around the country and this is by far the best of them all. More specifically, we went to the Centreville location 2x and both times the food was bad and the service was equally bad. The Miller Lane location, however, has better food, and the employees were absolutely wonderful. We will definitely be returning to this Cracker Barrel.
Food is great but the service needs a lot of attention. Waited 10 minutes for a coffee after being seated. Food came out in a timely manner. Waited in line for about 15 minutes to pay.
I haven't been to a Cracker Barrel since childhood but I had fond memories. I was disappointed. Went for brunch and ordered a large breakfast including steak and eggs. The biscuits and toast were good, eggs and hash browns were okay, the grits and gravy were cold and lackluster, but the steak was downright nasty. It tasted of liver. I complained and the server offered to refund or replace it, and since I had managed to choke down over half of it I asked for a pork chop instead. The pork chop was quite good, but the steak left a bad taste in my mouth that has stayed with me and tainted childhood memories.

Our server was awesome. The food was good. My wife found things to purchase in the gift shop. Go figure. Lol
Better than last time... Drinks an order in within 7 minutes of being seated...
